Beautiful!
Some of us
are the songs,
she says…
the lilting melody
the gentle birdsong
the reverberating pulse
that soothes the inner spaces.
Most of us
are not aware of this,
but still – we sing,
filling the silence
with reassurance
and hope.
Some of us
are the songs,
she says…
and some of us
have not yet learned
to sing.
