Crossing

Crossing requires a leap of faith

Getting to the other side unscathed

Whether meeting that someone new

Or sailing across the ocean blue

Whenever we cross into the unknown

Whether with someone else or alone

Unsure of what the results will be

We take the plunge and ultimately

Whether something expected or not
