I’d longed for a mother to care
One with whom I could share
Meaningful moments and fun too
Patiently awaiting a breakthrough
That moment in time when I was special
Important wanted, loved without equal
So those of you who enjoyed this love
Be thankful and never neglectful of
The woman who cared unconditionally
Giving you her all unequivocally
This is lovely.

Awe, thank you. For all the “real” mothers out there like you, who care and are invested in their kids! They all deserve kudos I think! And it can’t be said often enough.:)

Awe, thanks, Elaine. How goes the day? I guess it’s nearly over there. We’ve been out shopping, just got home.

My kids got me some lovely mother’s day presents. A magnifying glass on a necklace that doubles as a butterfly which is so perfect for reading instructions on bottles especially. A body cream that is divine Hibiscus but reminds me of apricot and peach somehow…and a lavender body wash which is so lovely, not too heavy. They are all “womanly” and not kid like… you know how some smell more like candy…or something equally annoying. lol
