Lukewarm considered lame for sure

Tepid, unenthusiastic, with no allure

Considered lukewarm he therefore enured

Little interest, on the fringes, he was insured

How he longed to be center stage

His ideas hot topics, and all the rage

Alas he was extremely shy

His ideas remaining pie in the sky

He must be brave, he must be bold

To break the spell that had taken hold

Keeping him lackadaisical amid

Tepid waters in the wading pool he hid

A little fish among all the rest

One day he’d move, he’d be his best
